The city’s Contemporary Art Museum has improved over the years, but it is still erratic when it comes to the quality of temporary exhibitions. Their permanent collection features a selection of mostly watercolor and oil paintings by well-known and up-and-coming Panamanians and other Latin Americans. It’s a well-organized museum, operating a cultural center with painting classes for kids and adults and other art activities such as film nights.
